OUR STORY
Best friends since childhood, we dreamed of opening our first restaurant when we were delivery boys working together on the Upper East Side in New York City. Years later, in 2010, our dream was realized when we opened our first shop on the Lower East Side. The Meatball Shop was an instant hit, quickly evolving into an NYC favorite as well as a global restaurant destination.
The Meatball Shop serves the best meatballs and sauces, and now we are bringing it to you at home. Just like in our restaurants, our flavors are built from scratch, and we use the exact same blend of sustainable and natural ingredients.

THE INGREDIENTS
The Meatball Shop is incredibly proud of the dishes we serve and the ingredients we make them with. From day one, we’ve worked to make sure we’re sourcing the best local and all-natural ingredients we’re able to get our hands on.
THE FLAVOR
No surprise, the best results come from using the best ingredients… The sauce starts with “sweating” of onions (cooking them slowly, until translucent but not brown, to extract as much flavor as possible), and the flavor continues to build from a nice, long, low-heat simmering after the tomatoes are added. Real flavor. No added sugar. Nothing artificial.
